Emergence Magazine & SwN
Our dear friends at Emergence Magazine have been great supporters of SWN and over the last few years have done some excellent creative reportage of our project. Followers of their online and physical magazine will know the level of quality of their material and we are honoured that they have given us such informed and attentive acknowledgement. Firstly, their web podcast and magazine feature from 2021 (see below) but in May 2024 they will be releasing a 40-minute documentary they made about SWN and Sams's journey with the birds. Watch this (and their) space for info on when that film will be released.
The Nightingale’s Song

Their work gathers voices—both human and more-than-human—with the potential to shift ways of thinking and being in relationship to the living world

The Nightingale film
Coming in Spring 2024, Emergence Mazagine have produced 'The Song of the Nightingale', a 40-minute documentary film charting the work of Sam Lee and his creation of the Singing With Nightingales experience.

Produced by Emergence Mazagine, Bushes and Briars is the opening track from Sam Lee’s latest album, ‘songdreaming’ coming March 2024. Filmed in Sussex and London and directed by Adam Loften and Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee.
