K.O.G (Kweku of Ghana) is a multi-dimensional creative force whose music is rooted in connection, consciousness and joy. A poet, storyteller and electrifying live performer, he blends fierce rap, soaring vocals, rhythm, movement and ritual into what he describes as “music as a weapon for peace of mind.” Performing in English, Pidgin and Ga, K.O.G creates sonic worlds that speak to the spiritual, emotional and collective.

Born in Accra, Ghana, and now based in Sheffield, UK, his sound draws from a rich mix of Ghanaian traditions and global influences. His music has taken him to major stages worldwide, including Glastonbury’s West Holts, Sauti Za Busara, Fusion Festival and the Commonwealth Games, where he was named 2018 Young Commonwealth Performer and performed for Nelson Mandela’s family.

A prolific collaborator, K.O.G is lead vocalist of afro-futurist project Onipa and his own hi-life/hip-hop/funk band K.O.G, while working closely with artists including Nubiyan Twist. Deeply rooted in lineage yet open to innovation, he moves fluidly between tradition and futurity, always guided by balance, community and truth.
