We will convene in the intimacy and wonder of our spring woodland sanctuary to hear the rare song of a Nightingale in exquisite bird and human collaboration, and ask the question: How can the wild inspire change?
This restorative time together on the land is a unique opportunity to meet others with a shared vision for a regenerative future. Join us to be nourished by nature and by one another, as we explore how creativity and kinship with the wild world can guide and support our interconnected paths. Singing with Nightingales welcomes you into our community, as we weave people, stories, and nature into a supportive web, and we would love you to be part of this growing circle.
Our gathering begins in the late afternoon at the fireside, where you will meet fellow changemakers and enjoy welcome drinks and an opening sharing circle. Before dusk approaches, you will be led on a short ecological tour, experiencing and unravelling the evening chorus and discovering the rich biodiversity of our ancient woodland. Returning to the warmth of the campfire, a two-course vegan dinner awaits, accompanied by a delicious selection of hot and cold drinks to suit all tastes.
As night falls, we'll share group insights and discussions, Nightingale folklore and histories, and songs before embarking on a silent walk through the darkness to find our singers. Here, under a blanket of stars, you'll witness our signature human-avian musical collaboration – a breathtaking interaction between our host Sam, our guest musician, and our bird, creating a truly unforgettable experience. As midnight passes, we’ll make our way back across the starry fields to the campsite and say goodbye to those heading home.
For those staying over, continue your Wild Change journey with a morning sharing circle, to exchange reflections and questions with each other. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to deepen your relationship with the woodland with some dedicated nature connection time, before coming back together for refreshments and farewells.
Singing with Nightingales is an organisation that inspires environmental action by rewilding human hearts and minds through artistic co-creations with nature. By joining our Wild Change evening, we hope to propagate deeper conversations, stronger networks and closer friendships between us and those attending this very special event.
