SHe/her

Oriana is a programmer, event organiser and singer. She has a passion for music and the power of song and rhythm to create and foster joy, community and resistance.

Oriana has a background in production, performance and administration, currently working as the Music Bookings and Artist Logistics Coordinator for Shambala Festival. In this role, Oriana seeks to champion diverse artists and celebrate cultural connection. She is responsible for looking after artists throughout their entire journey, from booking to leaving the festival site.

Music has been part of Oriana’s story from the very beginning, growing up in a musical family with roots in Colombian folk music. She understands the importance of preserving and celebrating traditional music and how this aligns with politics, nature conservation and climate justice.

Outside of work, Oriana spends as much time as possible outdoors, adventuring in the wild, exploring the beautiful UK coastlines and hiking, cycling or surfing.

Why I'm involved

“I truly believe we are meant to gather around fires, share stories and songs, and feel connected to ourselves, to each other and to the natural world. To be a part of creating this experience for people in such a special way is a huge privilege. I cherish the opportunity to bring unique artists into this space who want to share their gift and explore their craft in such a magical setting. ”
