Singing with Nightingales
April and May 2027 • 7pm-1am
Sussex
For seven weeks each spring, five thousand pairs of Nightingales return to southern England and fill the night air with the most extraordinary song on earth. Each evening, a different musician steps into the dark woodland to duet with them – just 40 guests witnessing something that cannot be recreated, only found.
Nights sell out. The ones people want most go first.
Priority Access means you choose your date and musician before the general public.
Refundable until 1 Feb 2027 • From £125 per person
"The most magical event you will ever attend.
Feel the true communion between nature and music.”
What happens on the night?
The evening begins around a fire with food, drink, and music – a gradual unwinding into the night. When the time comes, we’ll walk in silence into the darkness, no torches, no artificial light, until the woodland opens around you and the Nightingale begins to sing. What happens between that bird and the musician beside you is unrepeatable. It has never sounded quite like this before, and it never will again.
5:30 pm - Campsite opens
6:45 pm - All guests check in
7:00 pm - Campfire opens & welcome drinks
7:30 pm - Introduction and briefing

What’s included
The evening includes musical performances by the campfire, a guided evening chorus walk, a two-course vegan dinner with hot and cold drinks, post-dinner tales and folklore, culminating in the now-famous finale: a silent walk in the dark to hear our signature human-avian musical collaboration under the stars.
“Hearing the song of the Nightingale alongside the musicians’ voices and instruments was exquisite. To be surrounded by so many appreciative souls huddling together was heartwarming.”
— Miriam, UK, attended May 2026
Is this experience for you?
The walk into the woodland happens in near-darkness, over uneven terrain – up to an hour of walking and without artificial light. Come prepared for the British spring in all its moods.
Our team provides a full safety briefing before we set out, and we're here to assist throughout the evening. If anyone in your group has mobility or access requirements, please get in touch before booking. We're happy to talk through what the evening will look like for you. More detail is on our Accessibility & Welfare page.
What to wear: warm layers (wool preferred), waterproof and sturdy footwear, and clothing that doesn't rustle…silence is part of the experience.
HOW Priority Access WORKS
The 2027 season will run from early April to late May. Every year, guests who wait for the general sale miss out on the date, location, or musician they wanted most. Priority Access is how returning guests (and first-timers who plan ahead) make sure that doesn't happen.
Here's how it works:
Buy now: secure a Priority Access place for £125 per person – your deposit for a night you won’t forget
First pick in Autumn 2026: when the full 2027 programme is announced, you get a week-long priority window to choose your preferred date and pay the difference. Some events will be covered in full; most will require a small top-up (typically £10-£30 per ticket, with more for Extended or Special events).
Book your night: select your date, add camping and parking if you'd like them, and you're confirmed!
Priority Access places are limited. Once they're gone, you'll be in the general queue in Autumn 2026.
From £125 per person • Refundable until 1 Feb 2027
Camping & Staying Over
Our Sussex site offers overnight camping on the land within the farm and by the woods. It’s the perfect way to allow the power of the night to settle in you before returning to indoor living.
You can hire one of our boutique bell tents (limited number available), bring your own tent, or park a campervan onsite. Breakfast is included for all campers.
Please visit the Camping & Where to Stay page for full information.
“If you are a lover of nature, go, and you will find that love deepened. If you are not a lover of nature, go, and you will come away with that love, and it will burn brighter than you thought possible, and lead you into places more beautiful than you knew existed.”
